To ensure the highest standards of security and user convenience, we have upgraded our login system to provide a seamless, secure, and efficient access experience. These improvements are designed to make your interactions with Gatehills safer and more straightforward, while also ensuring that your account remains protected against unauthorized access. Understanding how your login works based on your chosen authentication method is crucial to avoid any access issues and to maintain the security of your account.

When you created your account, you may have used specific authentication methods such as UAE Pass, Google, or other supported services. It is important to note that your login process is directly tied to the method you selected during registration. For example, if you signed up using UAE Pass, you will need to continue using UAE Pass every time you log in.

Similarly, if you registered using your Google account, logging in will require you to use Google as well. This ensures that your account remains secure and that your credentials are properly verified each time you access the system.

For users who created their accounts manually, the login process requires entering your email or username along with your chosen password. Manual logins offer flexibility but require careful attention to password management. One key aspect to be aware of is our security lockout policy. If you enter the wrong password five times consecutively, the system will automatically lock your account as a protective measure and the only way to retrieve it is to reset your password. This prevents unauthorized access attempts and safeguards your personal and financial information.

Additionally, when you change your password, you cannot reuse any of your last 15 passwords. To further enhance security, users can also enable two-factor authentication (2FA), which provides an extra layer of protection by requiring a verification code in addition to your password. This ensures that your account remains secure and reduces the risk of unauthorized access due to recycled passwords.
