Help CenterObtaining a free SSL certificate with Gatehills is a straightforward process. It is required that you already have a domain with Gatehills and you chose the following package when purchasing the domain (see image below).
Follow these steps to secure your website with an SSL certificate:
Step 1: Visit the Gatehills Dashboard Website
Go to the official Gatehills Dashboard website. Open this link https://dash.gatehills.com/#/login. You can see your domain on the dashboard and on the right most side is the settings icon.
Step 3: Open the settings button then select the Add Certificate button.
Step 4: Fill out the Certificate Form then enable the Wild Card and Install After Creation. Once complete, click the Generate button.
Step 5: Wait for Certificate Issuance
After you have completed the verification process, Gatehills will process your request. This may take a few minutes to a few hours.
Step 7: Install the SSL Certificate
Once you have received your SSL certificate, you will need to install it on your web server. If you are unsure, consult support team for assistance.
